The Grass is Greener Inside the Greenhouse

While I don’t live in Hamilton, I spend a lot of time here for work and school. During the winter, events come slow in the Events Cruiser, so I'm around a lot of public areas doing Win sticker drive-throughs. One of my favorites is here, at the Gage Park Tropical Greenhouse. It's very versatile, rainy day? Gage Park Greenhouse. Freezing cold? Gage Park Greenhouse. Need somewhere close to kill an hour? Gage Park Greenhouse. Not only is it a great, free, place that covers my hours in the cruiser perfectly, but it has really great bathrooms for downtown Hamilton. (which are important to me out on the road) I really like going in there to sit down and enjoy the atmosphere with my snacks and Win sticker clipboard. I really like to watch the fish in the pond, and read the various educational plaques about all the tropical plants from around the world. The events that go on there are great too, the Fall Mum show was spectacular, and the Spring Bulb show is coming up in March. The Gage Park Tropical Greenhouse is where the city grows all the plants for the road medians as well. There’s lots to do around the park as well, but the greenhouse is the best place I can go regardless of the weather and time of day or year. So make sure to listen along on the weekend, and I’d be glad to show you around if you catch me there!
